Celebrate Ten Years of "Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian"

This year marks the tenth anniversary of author Sherman Alexie's landmark book "Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian." To mark the occasion, Symphony Space and Bank Street Book Store are hosting a special event on Friday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. This beautifully poignant book introduces readers to Junior, a Spokane Indian attempting to create a future for himself by writing and drawing his own story. Join us at 2537 Broadway (at West 95th Street) as Sherman talks with author Laurie Halse Anderson about this book and others that define his writing career.
