Story Time with Esther

Join us at Bank Street Book Store for a morning of reading and singing on Thursday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. with musician Esther Crow. Esther takes a lively approach to books and stories, entertaining babies, toddlers, pre-ks, and all other ages with an hour of bouncy fun. Zero cost, no pre-registration, and maximum fun!

Chelsea Clinton adds another description to her growing list of achievements. After writing several inspiring books for children, Chelsea is now the published author of "She Persisted." Hear her share her book about women through the ages who have done what they know is right: They have persevered (sometimes in the face of danger or adversity) by speaking up, making a difference, and bringing about positive change. Chelsea talks about her book at Symphony Space on Saturday, June 24 at 6:00 p.m. so young readers can learn about people like Harriet Tubman, Helen Keller, Ruby Bridges, and ten other women of courage and ideals. Chelsea will be joined in readings and conversation by Annie Q ("The Leftovers") and a panel of actors and writers.
