Author Carolyn Mackler Previews "Best Friend Next Door"

"Best Friend Next Door" is the latest middle-grade read from author Carolyn Mackler, who seems to know all the thoughts and feelings of the fifth-grade characters who inhabit her book. Carolyn and Bank Street Book Store's own Regina will present a reading of "Best Friend Next Door" on Tuesday, June 30 at 4:00 p.m. for kids like the book's Hannah and Emme, who are growing, changing, and learning -- all at the same time. Carolyn and Regina will alternate as readers, just like the chapters narrated by each girl. Join the fun and support literacy in the 'hood at Bank Street Book Store.
