She is a versatile writer who takes on many assignments in her role as contributing editor at New York Magazine. She is a frequent guest on NPR and appears on television shows such as Charlie Rose and Anderson Cooper 360

Jennifer will be in conversation with Kyla Kupferstein, Director of Admissions for the Hunter College Campus Schools. Together they will answer questions while discussing the unique pressures of parenting in New York City. She will sign copies of her book after the event.

Learn about Common Core, ELA, and Math Testing

Bright Kids has made its mark by offering testing materials to help students prepare for New York State exams. A staff of Bright Kids trainers and tutors will appear at Bank Street Bookstore on March 11 to provide information on Common Core standards and objectives, implications for ELA/math exams, and working with your child on formats and practice tests. Testing materials will be explained (and will be available to peruse and purchase) so kids feel comfortable, confident, and well-prepped for what comes next.
