A new audiobook of favorite fairy tales, including "Hansel and Gretel," "Cinderella," "Rapunzel," and "Rumplestiltskin," is now available from Random House Listening Library to bring classic tales to life. Read by a cast of award-winning narrators, this collection, called "Grimm's Fairy Tales," contains folk and fairy tales to enchant listeners young and old. Hear selections from the audiobook read aloud at Bank Street Book Store on Wednesday, September 14 at 5:00 p.m. This is a special Bookends event in support of the 2016 Brooklyn Book Festival. It is free of charge and pre-registration is not required. The Brooklyn Book Festival takes place Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18. For more information, visit http://www.brooklynbookfestival.org. (Parents: Please keep in mind that the audiobook is lyrically translated and beautifully narrated by an all-star cast and presented just as Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm originally set them down: bold, primal, and endlessly engaging.)
