Judy Blumesday at Symphony Space

Thalia Kids' Book Club events at New York City's Symphony Space promise lively discussions between children's book authors and the kids who read and love their books. Judy Blume, a super-star author for readers of all ages, will be honored at Symphony Space Sunday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m. to celebrate the enduring nature of her work. Blume's books ("Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing,"  "Freckle Juice," "Pain and the Great One," "Are You There, God? It's Me Margaret") include many modern classics whose passages will be performed by actors and read by authors throughout the day. Audience members (ideal age is eight to 12 years old) are invited to participate by asking questions and writing stories of their own inspired by Blume's works.
