"Mortal Engines" Lit Talk with Regina

In Philip Reeve's "Mortal Engines," cities like London consume smaller towns, creating a bleak alternative world of the future. Tom, a 15-year-old apprentice who tries to unravel a mystery involving a deadly weapon, becomes more connected to his environment and more interested in the social needs and landscape around him as the story progresses.

Her understanding of middle-grade themes has made Regina our resident lit talk expert at Bank Street Bookstore.

Enjoy Regina's dramatic readings every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. throughout the month of November. Books are introduced on Sunday and reviewed/continued on Wednesday.
