Seeing Is Believing: Author Wendy Rosen Introduces Her Book "The Hidden Link Between Vision and Learning"

Vision is more than meets the eye, especially when young learners are concerned. The sense of sight is critical to the learning process and impacts long-term school success in many important ways, says author Wendy Rosen. Wendy shares her research and her book "The Hidden Link Between Vision and Learning: Why Millions of Learning-Disabled Children Are Misdiagnosed" at Bank Street Book Store on Wednesday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m. She will explain how vision works and how vision dysfunction presents itself so adults are aware of visual skills that impact students in terms of learning and behavior. This event is for parents and educators to learn about these little-known vision problems that are often misdiagnosed as other conditions.
