Esther Reads and Sings at Bank Street Bookstore on the First Day of the New Month

Be here Thursday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. for the best possible way to welcome the new month. Bank Street Bookstore's favorite guest Esther Crow entertains with songs and stories just right for the tod set. Enjoy original music as well as greatest hits, then be ready for a reading or two of Dr. Seuss in preparation for the Seuss-e-bration (his actual birthday is Friday, March 2). Visit the bookstore on Thursday and throughout the weekend, then take a look at www.seussville.com for fun ways to celebrate a new month and another birthday for the good doctor (who would be turning 114 years old). Bank Street Bookstore is located at 2780 Broadway at the corner of West 107th Street.

Celebration of Bilingual Books

To examine the impact of the Latinx community on the world of children's books and the publishing industry, attend Bank Street's Celebration of Bilingual Books conference on Saturday, March 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Interchurch Center, 475 Riverside Drive, Room 1402. This learning opportunity offers the chance to meet authors and illustrators who shape characters and images in important ways.
