Bank Street Bookstore is especially pleased and proud to welcome Lynda Blackmon Lowery, whose book "Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom," will be presented Thursday, April 5 at 6:00 p.m. Lynda's book, as told to Elspeth Leacock and Susan Buckley, tells her story of marching for voting rights from Selma to Montgomery in the deeply segregated South of 1965. This event is free of charge and best for readers ages 12 years and up and adults. Light refreshments will be served as Lynda sign copies of her book. The bookstore is located at 2780 Broadway at the corner of West 107th Street.
