Author Panel: Real Life, Real Issues for Kids in School

Event date:
Saturday, May 14, 2016 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

On Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m., four fabulous authors present their thoughts, ideas, and books about elementary and middle school with kids and families at Bank Street Book Store. Join us for a terrific panel discussion that considers a wonderful, but slightly fragile, time of life -- warts and all. The elementary and middle school years are loaded with growth, learning, and excitement, but it is a time that asks a lot of the students who are part of this emotionally charged and changing world. Hear from these talented writers as they share excerpts from their books as well as their own personal experiences and memories: Erin Entrada Kelly, Laura Shovan, Melanie Conklin, and Dana Alison Levy. Authors will sign books after the event.
