Author Chris Barton Presents "Whoosh" and the Story of Inventor Lonnie Johnson

"Who comes up with these things?!" we often ask ourselves about some of our favorite gadgets and gizmos. Well, author Chris Barton knows all about the Super Soaker, one of the top ten toys of all time, because he wrote a book about its inventor Lonnie Johnson. Meet Chris and hear him talk about his book "Whoosh! Lonnie Johnson's Super-Soaking Stream of Inventions." Chris will answer questions, sign books, and maybe even demonstrate the effectiveness of this iconic toy. Join us at Bank Street Bookstore, 2780 Broadway, on Saturday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. This event is free of charge and does not require reservations.
