"Malaika's Costume" Reading by Author Nadia Hohn

It is Malaika's hope to dance in the annual carnival parade, and with the help of her family, neighbors, and community, Malaika's dream comes true. Meet author Nadia Hohn at Bank Street Book Store and hear her read "Malaika's Costume," a story of Caribbean heritage and tradition—plus a young girl's growing sense of self.
