SCBWI "Inside Story" Author Event

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) will launch its first international "Inside Story" event at Bank Street Bookstore this November. 

Designed as an opportunity for teachers, librarians, and children's book lovers to become acquainted with 2013 releases, a group of traditionally-published authors and illustrators will share the "inside story" behind their publications. Middle Grade authors will present at 2:30pm and Young Adult authors at 4:30pm, with a short intermission between presentations.

Refreshments will be provided.

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators acts as a network for the exchange of knowledge between writers, illustrators, editors, publishers, agents, librarians, educators, booksellers and others involved with literature for young people. It serves as a consolidated voice for professional writers and illustrators the world over.
